Welcome to my Blog. It's my first. No matter how you arrived at my blog, I welcome you and would like to thank you for taking an interest in my daughter Ivy Leigh. I knew instantly that I wanted to blog about her, yet it has taken me several months to get myself organized enough to find time to write and put this together. I would like to thank my husband for setting up this page. I tend to be super anal and it takes me a long time to let go of something because I want to read and reread what I draft. I am finding that I'll never post an entry if I don't lighten up a little on myself. Please forgive any typos or disorganized/run on thoughts.
This blog is about my experience welcoming Ivy Leigh into our family and learning about her CMN, or Congenital Melanocytic Nevus. It will be about her journey through the removal of her nevus. It will be about our journey as a family. It's a journey that will surely be full of heartaches and tears, celebrations and joys, fears and challenges, and faith and triumphs. This blog is also for sharing updates with friends and family during our journey. Please share this blog with anyone you believe may be interested in Ivy's incredible journey.
